Save mpeg video clips to your local hard
drive
1.) Click on the picture/text link with
the right mouse button
2.) Choose either "save
target as" or "save link as"
3.) Edit the file name to whatever you
like, extension must be ".mpg" or (mpeg).
Player
(not) starts playing immediately! (Windows Media Player 7)
My movie player (not) starts playing when I click the button: "Show
me the movie"
What to do:
A - DOWNLOAD
1.) Open Windows
Media Player
2.) Then go to menu Extra
and click on Options...
3.) On form Options
click on Formats
4.) Under Available
File Formats:
Choose the formats for Windows media player to play. Then
uncheck Movie File (mpeg) and click on button OK.
B
- PLAY
If you want to view the movie then:
1.) Open Windows
Media Player
2.) Then go to menu Extra
and click on Options...
3.) On form Options
click on Formats
4.) Under Available
File Formats:
Choose the formats for Windows media player to play. Then CHECK
Movie File (mpeg) and click on button OK.
Problems with sound?
Note that not all the mpeg's have sound when you play them. But it also
could be the problem that the Windows settings are not correctly set.
You can check them at settings --> control
panel --> sound and mulitmedia.
